To update Fire Safety Managers of the latest fire safety regulations and share best practises in fire safety industry. It is also platform for Fire Safety Managers to gather together to interact, share and enrich experiences.

Who Should Attend

Fire Safety Managers of commercial and/or industrial premises.
 
Please note:
Fire Safety Managers who had already attended the 1st  run need not register as you will not be given another 10 CPD points by SCDF for attending the 2nd run.
 
The 2nd run (23.10.2018) is meant for Fire Safety Managers who have missed out in attending the 1st run  (23.08.2018).
 
Topics that will be presented for this 2nd run are the same as topics presented in the 1st run.

Accreditation from SCDF

10 CPD Points for FSMs who had registered themselves in e-Fire Safety Manager Portal and attendance confirmed by electronic sign-in on the event day.
 
There is no SDU or PDU points awarded for FSM Briefing.
 
FSM Briefing 2018 is not eligible for any type of funding.

Registration

1.     Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation are deemed to have read, understand and consented to terms and conditions set out herein. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure attendee is aware of these terms and accepts them. By submitting registration on behalf of another individual, you are warranting that you have made the attendee or participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.
 
2.     Registration is at sole discretion of the organiser and it reserves the rights to accept or reject registrations and to cancel any previously accepted registration, at any time at its sole discretion, for any reason, witout liability to corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organiser.
 
3.     Registration is solely via Electronic Registration System. Please scroll to bottom of this page to submit registration.
 
4.     To safeguard your personal data, all electronic strorage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate security technologies.
 
5.     Registration is on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis, subjected to availability of seats and may close earlier than posted deadlines. Registration will not be accepted after registration closing date and/or after registration has closed.
 
6.     All participation fees are quoted and will be deducted in Singapore Dollars. Organiser is not a Goods and Services Tax (GST) registered entities.
 
7.     Registration by individual and private corporate,
a.     invoice will not be issued
b.     payment of participation fee is by credit or debit card via PayPal payment gateway
c.     if corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation does not have a PayPal Payment Account, please tab on "Check out as a Guest" or "Pay with Credit or Debit Card" on payment page and furnish details of credit or debit card as per information request fields and instructed next pages
d.     payment of participation fee has to be made in full in electronic registration before registration can be successfully completed
e.     upon successful electronic registration and payment, an electronic receipt will be sent to corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation at email address input in electronic registration
f.     if corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation does not receive electronic receipt, please check spam or junk mail folder
g.     electronic receipt serves as a confirmation of registration and guarantee of seat. There will be no further confirmation or reminder there after
 
8.     Registration by Government Agencies, Ministries and Statutory Boards
a.     payment of participation fee is via AGD e-Invoice Portal
b.     to facilitate submission of e-invoice via AGD e-Invoice Portal by organiser, contact person agrees to furnish accurate and up-to-date information in electronic registration
        -     Name of Ministry/Statutory Board
        -     Department
        -     Sub-Business Unit
c.     organiser reserves the rights to cancel registration should inaccurate above mentioned information is furnished by contact person in electronic registration. The registration will be purged from system and there is no notification of cancellation of any form
d.     full participation fee payment must be made prior actual event day in order to confirm registration and guarantee a seat
 
9.     It is sole responsibility of corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation to furnish accurate and complete entry details in electronic registration. There is no form of any amendment and/or changes and/or edition to be carried out once entry details are submitted in electronic registration.
 
10.   By submitting registration, corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation confirms that details contained in electronic registration are accurate in all aspects.
 
11.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with electronic receipt issued arising from incomplete and/or inaccurate entry details furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.

Alteration to Programe - Cancellation or Postponement of Event :
1.     Organisation recerves the rights to make alterations in the event programeincluding, but not limited to,
a.     venue and timings, in which case organiser will make an effort to inform participants prior to date of event
b.     cancel or postpone, in which case organiser will make an effort to inform participants prior to date of event
c.     interrupt or stop event due to dangerous situations or any other causes beyond its reasonable control
d.     replacing scheduled speakers at any time without prior notice to participants
 
2.     In event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the event is being cancelled or postponed or interupted or stopped, there shall be no refund of participation fee paid.
 
3.     Organiser shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by participant or inconvenience caused.
 
NO - Fee Refund or Replacement or Postponement and Not Transferable Policy :
1.     Registration and seat confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone in respect of
        -     participant's failure to attend event on event day, for whatever reason
        -     participant is not able to attend the event, for whatever reason
Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation will still be liable for participation fee payment.
 
2.     Participation fees paid are not refundable or transferable in respect of
        -     corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation cancels registration after registration is confirmed and seat is guaranteed
        -    participant's failure to attend event on the event day, for whatever reasons
        -     participant is not able to attend the event, for whatever reasons
        -     duplicated registration submitted and/or participation fee payment made
        -     wrong payment of participation fee amount
 
Attendance Sign-In :
1.     Electronic Attendance Sign-In will be implemented on actual event day. There is no manual paper attendance sign-in on event day.
 
2.     Each individual attendee will sign-in by scanning his or her NRIC or Employment Pass or Singapore Driving License via barcode reader. The system will provide real-time reporting of attendee's attendance of the day.
 
3.     Electronic Attendance Sign-in stations will close at 3.30pm and there is no scanning and/or manual paper attendance sign-in after attendance sign-in stations close. Late comers may attend the event but CPD points will not be awarded and there is neither refund of participation fee.
 
4.     Signing in of attendance on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and CPD points not awarded
 
5.     Attendee's information filed in electronic attendance sign-in system is as per information input in electronic registration by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation. Organiser shall not be held responsible for the mistake in submission electronically and filed.
 
Attire Code :
1.     All participants must be in proper attire on event day. Those in shorts, bermudas, flip-flops or slippers may not be allowed entry into event hall.
 
FSMAS Member Registration Rates :
1.     FSMAS member registration rates are not transferable to non-FSMAS member.
 
2.     By selecting FSMAS member registration rate, it is agreed that the registrant is a current financial member of FSMAS and that registration is made in the FSMAS member's name only.
 
3.     The FSMAS membership number is a compulsory information to input in electronic registration.
 
Admission and Punctuality :
1.     Please be punctual on event day as
a.     event will start on time
b.     electronic attendance sign-in stations will close at 3.30pm and there is no scanning and/or manual paper attendance sign-in after attendance sign-in stations close.
c.     late comers may attend the event but CPD points will not be awarded and there is neither refund of participation fee
 
2.     Admission to event is strictly by pre-registration in electronic registration and full participation fee payment made prior event day. If such fee payment is not made for any reasons, organiser may refuse to admit participant to event and shall have no liability in that regard.
 
3.     The venue provider and/or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the rights, in its own discretion, without liability for refund, compensation or otherwise, to refuse entry to or to remove any person or to revoke the credentials of participant whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or offensive to other participants, or to organiser's employees or who poses a threat to security or safety of the community.
 
Continual Programe Development (CPD) Points :
1.     Organiser shall not be held for CPD points not awarded
a.     arising from incomplete and/or inaccurate entry details furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration
b.     arising from participant's failure to sign-in his or her attendance on event day
c.     arising from participant's failure to attend event on the event day
 
2.     CPD points are credited to certified FSMs 
a.     who had registered themselves in the e-Fire Safety Manager Portal and
b.     attendance confirmed by electronic sign-in on the event day
 
3.     Official receipt of payment fee does not equate to being present on the event day.
 
Safety and Security :
1.     The venue provider and/or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the right in its discretion
a.     to refuse suitcases, bags, and/or other objects being brought in to venue whether before, during or after event
b.     to inspect any bag and/or other item which any person wishes to bring in to or remove from venue, whether before, during or after the show
c.     to conduct random security checks on all persons within venue at any time
 
2.     For safety and comfort for all participants, participants must at entry and also whilst inside the venue comply with the directions or announcements from organiser, venue provider and/or authorised representatives of venue provider and any other requirements relating to access and safety.
 
NO Smoking Policy :
1.     The venue provider and/or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the rights to stop patrons from smoking in "NO SMOKING" areas, including within 5 metres of the entrance or exit of the building, or to request patrons who refuse to cease smoking to leave the premises immediately.
 
General :
1.     To verify participant's identity, organiser reserves the rights to request for proof of identity on site and/or event day.
 
2.     Organiser has no control over the maintenance or management of the venue.
 
3.     All presentation material and information exhibited in the event are copyrighted and proprietary to the presenters, therefore audio recording or visual recording or photography by participants are prohibited.
 
4.     The event may be documented by means of photography and/or video and/or sound recording by the organiser, or others on behalf of the organiser. By attending or participating in the event, participants consent that photographs and/or videos and/or sound recordings of the event in which the participants are clearly identifiable may be used in whole or in part for all current and future media, without compensation or credit to participants.
 
5.     Organiser respects the protection of personal data. By providing the entrydetails in this electronic registration, corporate contact person as well as the individual or another organisation are deemed to have given consent that the information be used for the processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support.
 
6.     Prior to submitting an electronic registration and payment, it is corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation's responsibility to ensure that your technology is compatiable with our systems. Organiser is not liable or responsible for any technical issues which may arise as a result of your failure to ensure compatiability as above. Due to inherent nature, corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation acknowledges that organiser is not liable or responsible for and delay, dsruption or disturbance in the operation of the internet.
