To update Fire Safety Managers of the latest fire safety regulations and share best effective practises in the fire safety industries.
 
It is also a platform for Fire Safety Managers to gather together to interact, share and enrich experiences.

Who Should Attend

Fire Safety Managers of commercial and / or industrial premises.
 
Please kindly take note:
 
-     Fire Safety Managers who had already attended the 1st  run need not register as you will not be given another 10 CPD points by SCDF for attending the 2nd run.
-     2nd run FSM Briefing 2019 is meant for Fire Safety Managers who have missed out in attending the 1st run.
-     Topics that will be presented for this 2nd run are the same as topics presented in the 1st run.
-     The 2nd run FSM Briefing 2019 is the last briefing for year 2019.

Accreditation from SCDF

10 CPD Points will be awarded by SCDF for Fire Safety Managers who had registered themselves in the e-Fire Safety Manager Portal, attendance confirmed by electronic sign-in and sign-out on the event day and attending the full event.
 
There is no SDU or PDU points awarded for FSM Briefing 2019.
 
FSM Briefing 2019 is not eligible for any type of funding, eg. SDF, WDA, Skills Connect, Skills Credit, etc

1.     Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation are deemed to have read,

2.     If you are submitting registering on behalf of another individual and by submitting registration on behalf of another individual, you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that he or she has accepted these terms.
 
3.     By registering for the event and providing personal data in this electronic registration, corporate contact person, as well as the individual or another organisation are deemed to have given consent that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, disclosed and / or submitted to the governing bodies, third party providers, agents and other organisations for various purposes, including
 
a)     to communicate with corporate contact person, as well as the individual or another organisations for purposes related to the event.
 
b)     processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support.
 
4.     personal information provided will be treated with confidentiality.
 
5.     to safeguard personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate security technologies.
 
6.     Prior to submitting an electronic registration and making participation fee payment, it is the corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation's responsibility to ensure that your technology is compatible with our systems.
 
Organiser is not liable or responsible for any technical issues which may arise as a result of your failure to ensure compatibility as above.
 
Due to inherent nature, corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation acknowledges that organiser is not liable or responsible for and delay, disruptions or disturbance in the operation of the internet.
 
7.     Registration is at sole discretion of the organiser and it reserves the right to accept or reject registration and to cancel any previously accepted registration, at any time at its sole discretion, for any reason, without liability to corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organiser.
 
8.     Registration is solely via this webpage. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to submit registration. We regret to inform that
 
a)    there is no manual paper registration and / or registration via email.
 
b)    reservation of seats via email or telephone will not be entertained.
 
9.     Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to availability of seats and may close earlier than posted deadlines.
 
10.   Registration will not be accepted before or after the registration period. Only registration within the registration period is permitted.
 
11.   All participation fees are quoted and will be deducted in Singapore Dollars. Organiser is not a Goods and Services Tax (GST) registered entities.
 
12.   Registration by Individual and Private Corporate (For Individual, please register under INDIVIDUAL; For Private Corporate, please register under CORPORATE)
 
a)     invoice will not be issued.
 
b)     payment of full participation fee is by credit or debit card via PayPal payment gateway.
 
c)     if corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation does not have a PayPal Payment Account, please tab on "Check out as a Guest" or "Pay with Credit or Debit Card" on the page and furnish details of credit or debit card as per information request fields and instructed next pages.
 
d)     confirmation of registration is only upon successful electronic registration and payment of full participation fee in electronic registration.
 
e)     upon successful electronic registration and payment of full participation fee, an electronic receipt will be sent to corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation at the email address input in electronic registration.
 
f)     if corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation does not receive electronic receipt, please check spam or junk mail folder.
 
g)    electronic receipt serves as a confirmation of registration and guarantee of seat. There will be no further confirmation or reminder there after.
 
h)    kindly note that there is a NO - Fee Refund or Replacement or Postponement and Not Transferable Policy. 
Registration and seat confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone, in respect of participant's failure to attend and / or not able to attend event, for whatever reasons.
 
13.   Registration by Government AgenciesMinistries or Statutory Boards (please register under CORPORATE)
 
a)     payment of participation fee is via AGD - Vendors @ GOV
 
b)     to facilitate submission of e-invoice via AGD - Vendors @ GOV by organiser, liaison officer from the government agencies, ministries or statutory board agrees to furnish accurate client's information in electronic registration

c)     organiser reserves the right to cancel registration should inaccurate client's information is furnished in electronic registration and e-invoice rejected by AGD - Vendors @ GOV. The registration will be purged from system and there is no notification of cancellation from organiser of any form
 
d)     full participation fee payment must be made within the defaulted payment term period or within 30 days from date of e-invoice submission in AGD - Vendors @ GOV
 
14.   It is the sole responsibility of corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation to furnish accurate and complete information in electronic registration.
 
For security reasons, there is no form of any amendment and / or changes and / or edition to be carried out once information is submitted and filed in electronic registration.
 
15.   By submitting registration, corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation confirms that information contained in electronic registration are accurate.
 
16.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with electronic receipt issued arising from incomplete and / or in-accurate information furnished by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.

Please kindly take note:

Alteration to Program - Cancellation or Postponement of Event
 
1.     Organisation reserves the right to make alterations in the event program including, but not limited
 
a)     to venue and timings, in which case organiser will make an effort to inform participants prior date of event
 
b)     cancel or postpone, in which case organiser will inform participants as soon as reasonably practicable
 
c)     interrupt or stop event due to dangerous situations or any other causes or circumstances beyond its  reasonable control
 
d)     replacing scheduled speakers at any time without prior notice to participants.
 
2.     In the event that it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the event is being cancelled or postponed or interrupted or stopped, there shall be no refund of participation fee paid.
 
3.     Organiser shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by participant or inconvenience caused.
 
Attendance Sign-In and Sign-Out Electronically
 
1.     Electronic attendance sign-in and sign-out will be implemented on actual event day. There is no manual paper attendance sign-in and sign-out on the event day.
 
2.     The system will provide real-time reporting of participant's attendance of the day.
 
3.     Each individual participant will sign-in his or her attendance by scanning his or her NRIC or Employment Pass orSingapore Driving License via barcode reader.
 
a)     electronic attendance sign-in stations will open at 12.30pm and close at 3pm. There is no scanning and / or manual paper attendance sign-in after attendance sign-in stations close.
 
b)     late comers may attend the event but CPD points will not be awarded and there is neither refund of participation fee nor transfer to another run, if there is any.
  
4.     Each individual participant will sign-out his or her attendance after the last speaker has completed his presentation by scanning his or her NRIC or Employment Pass or Singapore Driving License via barcode reader.
 
a)     clocking out from the briefing before the last speaker has completed his presentation may affect awarding of CPD points.
 
b)     reasons of clocking out before the last speaker has completed his presentation will have to be given to SCDF.
 
5.     Signing-in and / or signing-out of attendance on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and CPD points not awarded.
 
6.     Participant's information filed in electronic attendance sign-in and sign-out system is as per information input in electronic registration by corporate person, as well as individual or another organisation.
 
Organiser shall not be held responsible for the mistake in the submission electronically and filed.
 
Admission, Entry, Exclusion and Punctuality
 
1.     Please be informed that the
 
a)     electronic attendance sign-in stations will close at 3pm and there is no scanning and / or manual paper
attendance sign-in after attendance sign-in stations close.
 
b)     late comers may attend the event but CPD points will not be awarded and there is neither refund ofparticipation fee nor transfer to another session.
 
2.     Admission to event is strictly by pre-registration and full participation fee payment made in electronic registration.
 
If such fee payment is not made for any reasons, organiser may refuse to admit participant to event and shall have no liability in that regard.
 
3.     It is with regret to inform that walk-in on the event day shall not be entertained.
 
4.     The venue provider and / or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the right, in its own discretion, without liability for refund, compensation or otherwise, to refuse entry to or evict any person or to revoke the credentials of a participant whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or offensive to other participants, or to organiser's employees or who poses a threat to security or safety of the community.
 
Continual Program Development (CPD) Points
 
1.     CPD points are awarded to Fire Safety Manager
 
a)     who had registered themselves in the e-Fire Safety Manager Portal prior the event and
 
b)     attendance confirmed by electronic sign-in before event starts and electronic sign-out at end of event on the event day and attending the full event.
 
2.     Organiser shall not be held responsible for CPD points not awarded, arising from
a)     participant's attendance not confirmed by electronic sign-in and sign-out on event day.
 
b)     participant's failure to attend event on event day, for any reason.
 
c)     erroneous information furnish by corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation in electronic registration.
 
3.     Please be informed that official receipt of payment fee does not equate to being present in the event on event day.

Event Speakers and Topic Material
 
1.     Any information and views expressed by the speakers or presenters are solely their own.
 
2.     The speaker or presenter shall ensure its rightful ownership of any copyright in their presentation materials and that any facts, representations, statements whatsoever made in these materials are true and accurate.
 
3.     Organiser shall be in no way liable for these materials.
 
FSMAS Member Registration Rates
 
1.     FSMAS member registration rate is not transferable to non-FSMAS member.
 
2.     By selecting FSMAS members registration rate, it is agreed that the participant is a current financial member of FSMAS and that registration is made in the FSMAS member's name only.
 
3.     The FSMAS membership number is a compulsory information to input in electronic registration.

NO - Fee Refund or Replacement or Postponement and Not Transferable Policy
 
1.     Registration and seat confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone, in respect of
 
a)     participant's failure to attend event on event day, for whatever reason
 
b)     participant is not able to attend the event, for whatever reasons
 
2.     Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation will still be liable for participation fee payment
 
3.     Participation fees paid are not refundable or transferable, in respect of
 
a)     corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation cancels registration after registration is confirmed, for whatever reasons
 
b)     participant's failure to attend event on the event day, for whatever reason
 
c)     participant is not able to attend the event, for whatever reason
 
d)     participant had submitted duplicated registration and participation full fee made
 
e)     corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation has paid the wrong fee amount
 
NO Smoking Policy
 
1.     The venue provider and / or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the right to stop patrons
from smoking in "NO SMOKING" areas, including within 5 metres of the entrance or exit of the building, or to to request patrons who refuse to cease smoking to leave the premises immediately.
 
2.     Smokers are liable to a composition sum of $200 if caught smoking in prohibited places.
 
Personal Data
 
1.     Organiser collects personal information about each Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation which is necessary for it to manage and operate the Venue and Events.

Safety and Security
 
1.     The venue provider and / or authorised representatives of venue provider reserves the right in its discretion
to
 
a)     refuse suitcases, bags, and / or other objects being brought in to venue whether before, during or after event
 
b)     inspect any bag and / or other item which any person wishes to bring in to or remove from venue, whether before, during or after the event
 
c)     conduct random security checks on all persons within venue at any time
 
2.     For safety and comfort for all participants, participants must at entry and also whilst inside the venue comply
with the directions or announcements from organiser, venue provider and / or authorised representatives of venue provider and any other requirements relating to access and safety.
 
3.     To verify participant’s identity, organiser reserves the rights to request for proof of identity on-site and / or on event day.
 
Venue
 
1.     Organiser has no control over the maintenance or management of the venue.
 
2.     Entry to the venue may be subjected to the venue’s prevailing terms and conditions of entry.
 
Videography, Photography and Audio Recording
 
1.     All presentation material and information exhibited in the event are copy-righted and proprietary to thepresenters, therefore audio recording or visual recording or photography by participants is prohibited.
 
2.     The event may be documented by means of photography and / or video and / or sound recording by
the organiser, or others on behalf of the organiser.
 
3.     By attending or participating in the event, participants consent that photographs and / or videos and / or sound recordings of the event in which the participants are clearly identifiable may be used in whole or in part for all current and future media, without compensation or credit to participants. 

Corporate contact person, as well as individual or another organisation are deemed to have read,
    understand and consented to terms and conditions set out herein.
