Fire Safety Managers who had already attended the 1st run need not register as you will not be given another 10 FSM-CPD points by SCDF for attending the 2nd run.
 
The 2nd run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) may be the last briefing for year 2021.

Participants will attend 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) via internet with desktop or tablet or laptop, with working webcam and audio system.
 
If you are using office computer, please check with your company and / or organisation's IT Department on firewall rules installed in office PC network.

2.00 pm to 5.00 pm
 
All participants are to log on to Zoom via Zoom meeting link at 12.30 pm on actual event day.
 
Please note that 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) may start and / or end before and / or after posted event time.
 
Kindly Take Note :
 
Electronic registration will open at 8.00 am on 21.04.2021 and closed at 11.59 pm on 07.05.2021.
 
Appeals for registration after the registration period closes will not be accepted and entertained. Only registration within the period is permitted.
 
Electronic registration is on a first-come-first-served-basis and availability of seats. It may close earlier than posted deadline.
 
Registration via email and / or telephone will not be entertained.

Fire Safety Managers must be registered in e-FSM Portal.
 
There is no SDU or PDU points awarded and / or Certificate of Attendance issued for 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) is not eligible for any type of funding, eg. SDF, WDA, Skills Connect, Skills Credit, etc.

Important Information to Take Note and / or to Provide in Electronic Event Registration :
 
There is there is no corporate registration for 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
Personal Email Address
 
Participants are to provide his or her correct individual personal email address in electronic event registration. Please do not furnish email address using a Company or Organisation Domain.
 
If you prefer an email address using a Company or Organisation Domain, please check with your company or organisation's IT Department for firewall rules installed in your company or organisation’s PC network. Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with participant not able to receive any form of communications and / or instructions arising from firewall rules installed in your company or organisation’s PC network.  
 
If you do not receive email in inbox mail folder, please check your spam and / or junk mail folder and / or check the filters section in his or her mail settings.
 
Participants are advised to register only just one and identical personal email address in event e-registration and on-line quiz log-in.  
 
Full Name of Participant as per e-FSM Portal or NRIC or Employment Pass
 
Participants must provide his or her full name as per e-FSM Portal or NRIC or Employment Pass.
 
Providing incomplete name will affect attendance time stamping by Zoom and cause delay in process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points.
 
NRIC Number or FIN Number of Participant
 
Participants to provide his or her correct NRIC or FIN number for verification purposes in electronic event registration.
 
FSM Registration Number
 
FSM Registration Number (5 numeric digits) is the unique number generated in e-FSM Portal to Fire Safety Manager when he or she registers in the e-FSM Portal.
 
Participants must provide his or her correct FSM Registration Number in electronic event registration if he or she is registered in the e-FSM Portal.
 
FSM Registration Number is required for attendance time stamping by Zoom, process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points.
 
Fire Safety Manager may retrieve his or her FSM Registration Number in the e-FSM Portal via his or her SingPass at https://eservices1.scdf.gov.sg/fsm/efsm/index.do
 
FSMAS Membership Number
 
If participant is a current financial member of FSMAS, please provide his or her FSMAS Membership Number in electronic event registration so as to enjoy discounted participation fee rate.
 
FSMAS Membership Number is issued to Fire Safety Manager when he or she joins FSMAS as a member.
 
Personal Mobile Number of Participant
 
Participants to provide his or her correct mobile number for contact purposes, as and when deemed necessary.

If you have submitted your registration without completing it with full payment or have closed the page prior completing the transaction, please retry again 2 hours later from time of last log in.
 
This is to allow the system to purge out your input of personal data earlier from the system.
 
Terms and Conditions :
1.     Individual is deemed to have read, understand and consented to terms and conditions set out herein.
 
2.     If you are submitting registering on behalf of another individual and by submitting registration on behalf of another individual, you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that he or she has accepted these terms.
 
3.     By registering for the event and providing personal data in this electronic registration, individual is deemed to have given consent that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, disclosed and / or submitted to the governing bodies, third party providers, agents and other organisations for various purposes, including
 
a.     to communicate with the individual for purposes related to the event
 
b.     processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support 
 
4.     Personal information provided will be treated with confidentiality.
 
5.     To safeguard personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate security technologies.
 
6.     Prior to submitting an electronic event registration, making full participation fee payment and participating virtual event via Zoom, it is the individual's responsibility to ensure that his or her technology is compatible with our systems.
 
Organiser is not liable or responsible for any technical issues which may arise as a result of individual's failure to ensure compatibility as above.
 
Due to inherent nature, individual acknowledges that organiser is not liable or responsible for and delay, disruptions or disturbance in the operation of the internet.
 
7.     Registration is at sole discretion of the organiser and it reserves the right to accept or reject registration and / or cancel any previously accepted registration, at any time at its sole discretion, for any reasons, without liability to individual.
 
8.     Registration is solely via this webpage. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to submit electronic event registration and do remember to tick the disclaimer box. We regret to inform that there is no manual paper registration and / or registration via email.
 
Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to availability of seats and may close earlier than
posted deadlines.
 
Registration will not be accepted before and / or after the registration period. Only registration within the registration period is permitted. No registration of any other form will be accepted after electronic event registration closes.
 
9.     All participation fees are quoted and will be deducted in Singapore Dollars. Organiser is not a Goods and  Services Tax (GST) registered entities.
 
10.   Invoice will not be issued.
 
11.   Payment of full participation fee is by credit or debit card via PayPal payment gateway only.
 
If individual does not have a PayPal Payment Account, please tab on "Check out as a Guest" or "Pay with Credit or Debit Card" on the page and furnish details of credit or debit card as per information request fields and instructed next pages.
 
Users are subject to the PayPal User Agreement and applicable policies.

12.   Upon successful electronic event e-registration and payment of full participation fee, an electronic receipt will be sent to individual at the email address input in electronic event e-registration.

13.   It is the sole responsibility of individual to furnish correct and complete information in electronic event registration.
 
For security reasons, there is no form of any amendment and / or changes and / or edition to be carried out once information is submitted, filed and locked in electronic event registration.
 
14.   By submitting electronic event registration, individual confirms that information contained in registration are accurate and valid.
 
15.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with electronic receipt issued arising from incomplete and / or incorrect and / or different information provided by individual in electronic event registration.
 
16.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with participant not able to receive any form of
communications and / or instructions arising from incomplete and / or incorrect and / or different information furnished by individual in electronic event registration. 
 
17.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with participant not able to receive any form of communications and / or instructions arising from firewall rules installed in your company or organisation’s PC network.  
 
18.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for participant's attendance not time stamped by Zoom and FSM-CPD points not awarded arising from
 
a.   incomplete and / or incorrect and / or invalid Full Name and FSM Registration Number provided by individual in electronic event registration
 
b.   participant not attending and staying on-screen throughout entire duration of event, for whatever reasons
 
c.   participant not turning on webcam on his or her electronic device throughout entire duration of event, for whatever reasons
 
d.   participant's failure to pass on-line quiz, for whatever reasons

Accreditation and Pre-requisites
 
10 FSM-CPD points for Fire Safety Managers
 
FSM must be registered in the e-FSM Portal and has furnished his or her correct FSM Registration Number.
 
Participant's attendance is time stamped by Zoom on the actual event day.
 
Participant must switched on the webcam of his or her electronic devices and be present on-screen in duration of event. Video recording of participants’ on-screen will be taken in entire duration of event.
 
Participant must attend entire duration of event and pass an on-line quiz after he or she has attended the entire duration of event.
 
Participants will be deemed absent for the event if the system is unable to detect his or her presence on-screen at any point in time, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
Generally, FSM-CPD points will be awarded to certified FSMs one month after the event date,
 
Alteration to Program - Cancellation or Postponement of Event
 
Organisation reserves the right to make alterations in the event program including, but not limited
 
a.   cancel or postpone, in which case organiser will inform participants as soon as reasonably practicable
 
b.   replacing scheduled speakers at any time without prior notice to participants. In the event that it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the event is being cancelled or postponed or interrupted or stopped, there shall be no refund of participation fee paid.
 
Organiser shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by participant or inconvenience caused.
 
Attendance - Please note that there is strict validation of attendance for event
 
Participant's attendance will be time stamped by Zoom and real-time reporting of participant's attendance of the day will be provided.
 
Participant has to be present on-screen for entire duration of event. Video recording of participants’ on-screen will be taken in entire duration of event.
 
Please ensure that webcam of your electronic devise is working and switched on at all times for entire duration of event.
 
Participants will be deemed as absent for event if
 
a.   he or she did not switch on webcam at all times for entire duration of event, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
b.   he or she is found to be not present on-screen in entire duration of event, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
c.   he or she fails to pass the on-line quiz and / or take the on-line quiz, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
Logging on to event and / or attending event on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
 
Please be informed that official receipt of payment fee paid does not equate to being present in 2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
Email Address
 
Participant is to provide valid individual personal email address electronic event registration.

FSMAS Member Registration Rates
 
By selecting FSMAS members registration rate, it is agreed that participant is a current financial member of FSMAS and that registration is made in the FSMAS member's name only.
 
The FSMAS membership number is a compulsory information to input in electronic event registration.
 
FSMAS member registration rate is not transferable to non-FSMAS member.

FSM Registration Number
 
FSM Registration Number (5 Numeric Digits) is the unique number generated in e-FSM Portal to Fire
Safety Manager when he or she registers in the portal.
 
It is a compulsory information to provide if Fire Safety Manager is registered in e-FSM Portal. 
 
It is a required information for attendance time stamping by Zoom, process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points.
 
Fire Safety Manager may retrieve his or her FSM Registration Number in the e-FSM Portal via his or her SingPass at https://eservices1.scdf.gov.sg/fsm/efsm/index.do
 
Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with participant for FSM-CPD points not awarded due to
incorrect FSM Registration Number provided by individual, for whatever reasons.   
 
NO - Fee Refund or Replacement or Postponement and Not Transferable Policy
 
Registration confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone, in respect of
 
a.   participant's failure to attend event on actual event day, for whatever reasons
 
b.   participant is not able to attend entire duration of event, for whatever reasons.
 
Individual will still be liable for participation fee payment.
 
Participation fees paid are not refundable or transferable, in respect of
 
a.   individual cancels registration after registration is confirmed, for whatever reasons
 
b.   participant's failure to attend event on actual event day, for whatever reasons
 
c.   participant's failure to attend entire duration of event, for whatever reasons
 
d.   participant's failure to pass on-line quiz, for whatever reasons
 
e.   participant has submitted duplicated registration and paid participation full fee
 
f.   individual has paid the wrong participation fee amount
 
On-Line Quiz
 
Participant has to take an on-line quiz after he or she has attended entire duration of event.
 
The log in link to the on-line quiz will be sent to individual participant via email after participants have attended entire duration of event on actual event day by Variety Comunications Pte Ltd (events@varietycommunications.com)
 
If individual does not receive email in inbox mail folder, please check spam and / or junk mail folder and /or check the filters section in his or her mail settings.
 
Participant is given 3 days from day of event to take on-line quiz. The last day to take on-line quiz is Friday 28.05.2021 at 11.59 pm.
 
Participant who attended entire duration of event but fails to take the on-line quiz and / or did not pass on-line quiz after all attempts will be deemed as absent. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
Taking and passing on-line quiz on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
 
Participant is to follow strictly the instructions in the on-line quiz portal and input required information accordingly. Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with participant for FSM-CPD points not awarded due to incorrect and / or invalid information provided by individual, for whatever reasons.

Participant is required to input the same email address provided in event e-registrtaion, full name as in NRIC or Employment Pass and FSM Registration Number in on-line quiz portal.
 
Organiser will not be liable for any mismatched information provided by participant and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
    
Personal Data
 
Organiser collects personal information about individual which is necessary for it to manage and operate the event and administer his or her participation in events.
 
Organiser may disclose personal information about individual, for any of the purposes and in accordance with the PDPA, to any of our agents and service providers providing services in relation to the event and / or our partners or collaborators in the event (including but not limited to the Singapore Civil Defence Force)

Videography and Audio Recording
 
All presentation material and information exhibited in the event are copy-righted and proprietary to the presenters, therefore audio recording or visual recording by participants is prohibited.
 
The event is documented by means of video and / or sound recording by the organiser, or others on behalf of the organiser.
 
By attending or participating in the event, participants consent that videos and / or sound recordings of the event in which the participants are clearly identifiable may be used in whole or in part for all current and future media, without compensation or credit to participants.
 
Webinar Tips
 
Use an electronic devise, like desktop or tablet or laptop, with a working webcam. Webcam must be switched on at all times for entire duration of event.
 
Have an ear piece with connected microphone to join in for better audio effect.
 
Have a good and stable internet connection.
 
ZOOM Meeting ID
 
ZOOM meeting link will be provided between 14.05.2021 to18.05.2021 to participant prior to the event via email by Variety Communications Pte Ltd (events@variertycommunications.com
 
Participants have to log in to Zoom via the Zoom meeting link from 12.30 pm on actual event day.
 
Zoom meeting link is encrypted with participant's FSM Registration Number and full name as per NRIC and / or Employment Pass.
 
Modification and / or amendment of any information in Zoom will result in attendance not time stamped by Zoom and FSM-CPD points not be awarded.
