Virtual event via Zoom Meeting Platform. Participants will attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) via internet with desktop or tablet or laptop, with working webcam and audio system.
 
Kindly note:
-   electronic registration opened at 8am on 21.12.2020 and closed at 8pm on 31.12.2020
-   appeals for registration after the registration period closes will not be accepted and entertained. Only registration within the period is permitted
-   electronic registration is on a first-come-first-served-basis and availability of seats. It may close earlier than posted deadline

-   2nd Run FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) will be held in 2nd quarter of year 2021. Detailed information of the 2nd Run will be available at a later date. 

Accreditation from SCDF

10 FSM-CPD Points will be awarded by SCDF for Fire Safety Managers who have registered themselves in e-FSM Portal, attend entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and pass an on-line quiz.
 
There is no SDU or PDU points awarded for FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) is not eligible for any type of funding, eg. SDF, WDA, Skills Connect, Skills Credit, etc.

Registration

Please follow the registration procedures and understand the terms and conditions carefully.
 
Do note that there is no corporate registration for FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and there are 2 registration segments, namely electronic registration and payment and registration to access Zoom Meeting platform. 
 
Compulsory and correct information required for electronic event registration and payment.
 
1.   Personal Email Address of participant. Please be informed that only individual personal email address is accepted. Please do not furnish email address using a Company or Organisation Domain. 
 
Do ensure your personal email address is correct as incorrect email address furnishes in electronic registration will result in not able to communicate with individual in any matters relating to FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) registration, processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support.
 
If you do not receive email in inbox mail folder, please check your spam and / or junk mail folder and / or check the filters section in his or her mail settings
 
Do note that if you prefer an email address using a Company or Organisation Domain, please check with your company or organisation's IT Department for firewall rules installed in your company or organisation’s PC network.
 
2.   Full Name of participant as per NRIC or Employment Pass. Please note that furnishing of incomplete name may affect attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform, cause delay in process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points, delay in process of verification in registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform and customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link.
 
3.   NRIC Number or FIN Number of participant for verification purposes.
 
4.   FSM Registration Number (5 numeric digits) if you are registered in the e-FSM Portal. FSM Registration Number is the unique number generated in e-FSM Portal to Fire Safety Manager when he or she registers in the e-FSM Portal.
 
It is a compulsory information to input in electronic registration by FSM who is registered in e-FSM Portal.
 
It is also required for attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform, process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points, process of verification in registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform and customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link.
 
Failure in provding correct and valid FSM Registration Number will affect above mentioned administrative process procedure and not able to attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
Fire Safety Manager may retrieve his or her FSM Registration Number in the e-FSM Portal at 
 
5.   FSMAS Membership Number if you are a current financial member of FSMAS. FSMAS Membership Number is issued to Fire Safety Manager when he or she joins FSMAS as a member. It is a complulsory information to input in registration by FSMAS member so as to enjoy discounted participation fee rate.
 
6.   Personal Mobile Number of participant for contact purposes, as and when deemed necessary.
 
Compulsory and Correct Information required for registration for Access to Zoom Meeting Platform
 
An email will be sent to participants who have successfully registered and made full participation fee inviting registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform by Variety Communications Pte Ltd (events@varietycommunications.com), FSMAS' appointed webinar vendor. 
 
After successful registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform, he or she will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting and customised unique individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link within 2 days.
 
1.   Personal Email Address of participant. Please be informed that only individual personal email address is accepted and do furnish the same email address which he or she has furnished in FSMAS event registration webpage.
 
Incorrect personal email address furnishes will result in not able and / or delay to customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link, customisation of participant's on screen identity, participant's attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform and matching of data submitted with information furnished in FSMAS event registration webpage.

2.   First Name and Last Name of participant. Please input his or her name correctly so as to faciliate customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link, customisation of participant's on screen identity, participant's attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform and matching of data submitted with information furnished in FSMAS event registration webpage.
 
3.   FSM Registration Number (5 numeric digits) if you are registered in the e-FSM Portal. FSM Registration Number is the unique number generated in e-FSM Portal to Fire Safety Manager when he oshe registers in the e-FSM Portal.
 
It is a compulsory information to input in electronic registration by FSM who is registered in e-FSM Portal and for awarding process of FSM-CPD points.
 
It is also required for customisation of attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform, participant's on screen identity in Zoom Meeting platform, customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link and matching of data submitted with information furnished in FSMAS event registration webpage.
 
Failure in provding correct and valid FSM Registration Number will affect above mentioned administrative process procedure and not able to attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
Fire Safety Manager may retrieve his or her FSM Registration Number in the e-FSM Portal at

Terms and Conditions
 
1.   Individual is deemed to have read, understand and consented to terms and conditions set out herein.
 
2.   If you are submitting registering on behalf of another individual and by submitting registration on behalf of another individual, you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that he or she has accepted these terms.
 
3.   By registering for the event and providing personal data in this electronic registration, individual is deemed to have given consent that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, disclosed and / or submitted to the governing bodies, third party providers, agents and other organisations for various purposes, including
 
a.   to communicate with the individual for purposes related to the event
 
b.   processing of registration and in the provision of administrative services and support
 
4.   Personal information provided will be treated with confidentiality.
 
5.   To safeguard personal data, all electronic storage and transmission of personal data are secured with appropriate security technologies.
 
6.   Prior to submitting an electronic registration and making full participation fee payment via FSMAS event registration webpage, registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform and participating in the virtual event, it is the individual's responsibility to ensure that your technology is compatible with our systems.
 
Organiser is not liable or responsible for any technical issues which may arise as a result of your failure to ensure compatibility as above.
 
Due to inherent nature, individual acknowledges that organiser is not liable or responsible for and delay, disruptions or disturbance in the operation of the internet.
 
7.   Registration is at sole discretion of the individual and it reserves the right to accept or reject registration and / or cancel any previously accepted registration, at any time at its sole discretion, for any reasons, without liability to individual.
 
8.   Registration is solely via this webpage. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to submit registration and do remember to tick the disclaimer box. We regret to inform that there is no manual paper registration and / or registration via email.
 
9.   Registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis, subject to availability of seats and may close earlier than
posted deadlines.
 
10.  Registration will not be accepted before and / or after the registration period. Only registration within the registration period is permitted. No registration of any other form will be accepted after electronic registration via FSMAS event registration webpage closes.
 
11.  All participation fees are quoted and will be deducted in Singapore Dollars. Organiser is not a Goods and Services Tax (GST) registered entities.
 
12.  Invoice will not be issued.
 
13.  Payment of full participation fee is by credit or debit card via PayPal payment gateway only.
 
14.  If individual does not have a PayPal Payment Account, please tab on "Check out as a Guest" or "Pay with Credit or Debit Card" on the page and furnish details of credit or debit card as per information request fields and instructed next pages.

15.  Upon successful electronic event registration and payment of full participation fee, an electronic receipt will be sent to individual at the email address input in electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webpage. 
 
If individual does not receive electronic receipt in inbox mail folder, please check spam and / or junk mail folder.
 
16.  After electronic event registration has closed, an email will be sent to individual by Variety Communications Pte Ltd (events@varietycommunications.com), FSMAS' authorised and appointed webinar vendor, inviting registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform.
 
If individual does not receive electronic receipt in inbox mail folder, please check spam and / or junk mail folder and / or check the filters section in his or her mail settings.
 
17.  Registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform is required by Zoom Video Communications before the actual event day, as well as for customisation of participant's attendance time stamping in Zoom Meeting platform, on-screen identity purposes in Zoom Meeting platform and customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link.
 
Please note that failing to register for Access to Zoom Meeting platform before the actual event day will result in not able to attend the FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and awarding of FSM-CPD points.
 
18.  Upon successful registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform, a confirmation together with customised unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link will be sent to individual via email by Variety Communications Pte Ltd, FSMAS' authorised and appointed webinar vendor. 
 
If individual does not receive confirmation email in inbox mail folder, please check spam and / or junk mail folder and / or check the filters section in his or her mail settings and / or write to events@varietycommunications.com
 
19.  It is the sole responsibility of individual to furnish accurate and complete information in electronic event registration and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform.
 
For security reasons, there is no form of any amendment and / or changes and / or edition to be carried out once information is submitted, filed and locked in electronic event registration and registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform.
 
20.  By submitting electronic event registration and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform, individual confirms that information contained in both registrations are accurate.
 
21.  Organiser shall not be held responsible for any disputes with electronic receipt issued arising from incomplete and / or in-accurate and / or different information furnished by individual in electronic event registration.
 
22.  Organiser shall not be responsible for any disputes with participant not able to receive any form of
communications and / or instructions arising from incomplete and / or incorrect and / or different information furnished by individual in electronic event registration and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform.
 
23.  Organiser shall not be responsible for participant's attendance not time stamped and FSM-CPD points not awarded arising from
 
a.   incomplete and / or in-accurate and / or invalid Full Name and FSM Registration Number furnished by individual in electronic event registration and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform
 
b.   participant not attending entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) on event day, for whatever reasons
 
c.   participant's failure in completing viewing of entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar), for whatever reasons
 
d.   participant's failure to take, complete and pass on-line quiz, for whatever reasons

Please kindly take note:

Alteration to Program - Cancellation or Postponement of Event
 
1.   Organisation reserves the right to make alterations in the event program including, but not limited
 
a.   cancel or postpone, in which case organiser will inform participants as soon as reasonably practicable
 
b.   replacing scheduled speakers at any time without prior notice to participants
 
2.   In the event that it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the event is being cancelled or
postponed or interrupted or stopped, there shall be no refund of participation fee paid.
 
3.   Organiser shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by participant or inconvenience caused.
 
Attendance - Please note that there is strict validation of attendance for the FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar)
 
1.   Participant's attendance will be time stamped by Zoom Meeting platform and real-time reporting of participant's attendance of the day will be provided.
 
2.   Participant has to be on screen for entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar). Screen recording of participants’ on screen will be taken in entire and full scheduled and duration of event.
 
Please ensure that webcam of your electronic devise is working and switched on at all times for entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
3.   Participant will be deemed as absent for FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) if he or she is found to be not on screen in entire and full scheduled and duration of event, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points may not be awarded.
 
4.   Participant will be deemed as absent for FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) if he or she fails to take, complete and pass the on-line quiz, for whatever reasons. FSM-CPD points may not be awarded.
 
5.   Log on to FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and / or attending the event on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
 
6.   Please be informed that official receipt of payment fee paid does not equate to being present in FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
Continual Program Development (CPD) Points
 
1.   Please note the following for FSM-CPD Points awarding.
 
a.   Fire Safety Manager is registered in e-FSM Portal
 
b.   Correct and complete information, like Full Name as per NRIC or Employment Pass and FSM Registration Number are furnished in electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webpage and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform
 
c.   Attendance is time stamped, validated and confirmed by Zoom Meeting platform on the actual FSM Briefng 2021 (Webinar) day
 
d.   Participant is on screen for entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and his or her on screen is screen recorded in entire and full scheduled and duration of event
 
e.   Participant must attend for entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and take, complete and pass on-line quiz
 
2.   Organiser shall not be held responsible for FSM-CPD points not awarded, arising from
 
a.   participant's attendance not time stamped, confirmed and validated by Zoom Meeting platform, for whatever reasons
 
b.   participant found to be not on screen and / or his or her on screen is not screen recorded, for whatever reasons
 
c.   participant's failure to complete viewing entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar), for whatever reasons
 
d.   participant's failure to take, complete and pass on-line quiz, for whatever reasons
 
e.   incorrect and / or incomplete and / or invalid information furnish by individual in electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webpage and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform, for whatever reasons
 
Email Address
 
Participant is to furnish same and valid Personal Email Address in both electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webspage and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting Platform.
 
Incomplete and / or incorrect and / or different set of email address furnishes will result in not able and / or delay to customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link, customisation of participant's on screen identity and participant's attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting platform.

Event Speakers and Topic Material
 
1.   Any information and views expressed by the speakers or presenters are solely their own.
 
2.   The speaker or presenter shall ensure its rightful ownership of any copyright in their presentation materials
and that any facts, representations, statements whatsoever made in these materials are true and accurate.
 
3.   Organiser shall be in no way liable for these materials.
 
FSMAS Member Registration Rates
 
1.   FSMAS member registration rate is not transferable to non-FSMAS member.
 
2.   By selecting FSMAS members registration rate, it is agreed that participant is a current financial member of FSMAS and that registration is made in the FSMAS member's name only.
 
3.   The FSMAS membership number is a compulsory information to input in electronic registration.

FSM Registration Number
 
1.   FSM Registration Number (5 numeric digit) is the unique number generated in e-FSM Portal to Fire
Safety Manager when he or she registers in the portal.
 
2.   It is a compulsory information to input in both electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webpage and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting Platform by the FSM who is registered in e-FSM Portal.
 
3.   It is also required for attendance time stamping by Zoom Meeting Platform, process of verification and awarding of FSM-CPD points and customisation of unique individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link.
 
4.   Fire Safety Manager may retrieve his or her FSM Registration Number in the e-FSM Portal at 
 
5.   Organiser shall not be responsible for any disputes with participant for FSM-CPD points not awarded due to
incorrect and / or invalid FSM Registration Number furnish by individual in electronic event registration via FSMAS event registration webpage and registration for Access to Zoom Meeting platform, for whatever reasons   
 
NO - Fee Refund or Replacement or Postponement and Not Transferable Policy
 
1.   Registration confirmed is not replaceable, transferable or postpone, in respect of
 
a.   Participant's failure to attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) on actual event day, for whatever reasons
 
b.   Participant is not able to attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar), for whatever reasons
 
2.   Individual will still be liable for participation fee payment.
 
3.   Participation fees paid are not refundable or transferable, in respect of
 
a.   individual cancels registration after registration is confirmed, for whatever reasons
 
b.   participant's failure to attend FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) on actual event day, for whatever reasons
 
c.   participant's failure to complete viewing entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar), and failure to take, complete and pass on-line quiz, for whatever reasons
 
d.   participant has submitted duplicated registration and paid participation full fee
 
e.   individual has paid the wrong participation fee amount
 
On-Line Quiz
 
1.  Participant has to take an on-line quiz via Internet Browser after he or she has completed viewing entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
2.   The log in link to the on-line quiz will be sent to individual participant after participants have completed viewing entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) on actual event day by email.
 
If individual does not receive email in inbox mail folder, please check spam and / or junk mail folder and /or check the filters section in his or her mail settings.
 
3.   Participant is given 3 days from day of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) to take the on-line quiz. The last day to take on-line quiz is Friday 22 January 2021 at 11.59pm.
 
4.   Participant who completes viewing entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) but fails to take the on-line quiz and / or did not pass on-line quiz after all attempts will be deemed as absent. FSM-CPD points will not be awarded.
 
5.   Log in to on-line quiz and taking, completing and passing on-line quiz on behalf of another attendee constitutes voiding of both attendees' attendance and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
 
Personal Data
 
1.   Organiser collects personal information about individual which is necessary for it to manage and operate the Event.

Videography and Audio Recording
 
1.   All presentation material and information exhibited in the FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) are copy-righted and proprietary to the presenters, therefore audio recording or visual recording by participants is prohibited.
 
2.   The FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) is documented by means of video and / or sound recording by the organiser, or others on behalf of the organiser.
 
3.   By attending or participating in FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar), participants consent that videos and / or sound recordings of the event in which the participants are clearly identifiable may be used in whole or in part for all current and future media, without compensation or credit to participants.
 
Webinar Tips
 
1.   Use an electronic devise, like desktop or tablet or laptop, with a working webcam. Webcam must be switched on at all times for entire and full scheduled and duration of FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar).
 
2.   Have an ear piece with connected microphone to join in for better audio effect.
 
3.   Have a good and stable internet connection.
 
ZOOM Meeting Platform 
 
1.   Registration for access to Zoom Meeting platform is required by Zoom Video Communications before the event day, as well as for customisation of participant's attendance time stamping in Zoom Meeting platform, on-screen identity purposes in Zoom Meeting platform and customisation of unique encryted individualised Zoom Meeting Access Link.
 
2.   Please note that failing to register for Access to Zoom Meeting platform before the event day will result in not able to attend the FSM Briefing 2021 (Webinar) and awarding of FSM-CPD points.
 
3.   Please do not amend any information in Zoom on event day. Any amendment made by particpants may result in his or her attendance not time stamped by Zoom and FSM-CPD points not awarded.
