FSMAS AGM 2011

The Annual General Meeting 2011 was hosted on 24 March 2011 at Hersing Auditorium, Hersing Hub Toa Payoh. Highlight of the agenda for the AGM was the nomination of the 22nd FSMAS Management Committee 2011 – 2013.

Altogether 13 nominations were received for the 13 available seats. The nominees are:-

FIRE SAFETY ASIA CONFERENCE SINGAPORE 2011

Singapore Civil Defence Force and the National Fire and Civil Emergency Preparedness Council are jointly launching the inaugural Fire Safety Asia Conference (FiSAC) 2011 to be held at the Suntec Singapore from 12-14 October 2011.

A two-day conference, a half-day workshop and a half-day site visit are to be covered within the three days. Fire safety experts and professionals, government agencies and authorities will be sharing their experiences and solutions in preventing or containing outbreaks of fire in commercial, industrial and residential areas. New and innovative fire safety procedures and protocols would also be unveiled

FIRE SAFETY MANAGER BRIEFING 2011

Due to overwhelming response from Fire Safety Managers (FSM), we would like to inform members that the Fire Safety Managers’ Association (Singapore) will be organizing a 3rd session of the Fire Safety Manager Briefing 2011 with support from Association of Company Emergency Response Team (A-CERT) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

10 CPD points will be awarded to Fire Safety Managers who attend the event.
