FSMAS AGM 2010

The Annual General Meeting 2010 was hosted on 26 March 2010 at Hersing Auditorium Hersing Hub Toa Payoh. A FSMAS Seminar on the Fundamentals of Fire Risk Assessment was also organized on the same day. The seminar was approved as a accredited course accredited course of the FSM’s CPD and 3 CPD points were awarded by SCDF.

FSMAS TECHNICAL SEMINAR SS546:2009 CODE OF PRACTICE FOR EMERGENCY VOICE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN BUILDINGS

More than 140 participants attended the FSMAS Technical Seminar SS546: 2009 Code of Practice for Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) Systems in Building on 21 May 2010 at HDB Hub Auditorium. The seminar was supported by Spring Singapore.
3 topics were delivered during the seminar and they were: 

• The overview of the SS 546:2009  Code of Practice for Emergency Voice Communication Systems in Buildings
• Guidance for the design and modification work of emergency voice communication systems in buildings
• Design and installation of emergency voice communication systems to SS546:2009

The seminar was approved as an accredited course of the FSM CPD, WSHO CPD and PE CPD Program.  3 FSM-CPD points, 3 SDU points and 3 PDU points were awarded respectively.
